Helping a Father of Two Through Hard Times

My name is Ezz Qadi. I am 36 years old, a husband and a father of two children who are my whole world. Everything I do is for them.

Before October 2023, we lived a peaceful and stable life. I worked as an English teacher, translator, and computer technician, doing what I loved, helping others, and building a future for my family.

Since then, everything has changed. We were forced to flee from the north of Gaza to Rafah, and then to Khan Yunis. With each displacement, we lost more: our home, our belongings, and the life we had built. What remains is the pain of fear, loss, and uncertainty. As a father, it is heartbreaking not to be able to give my children the safety they deserve.

Still, I am trying to stand again. I want to rebuild our lives, return to work, and give my family hope for the future. I believe things can get better, but I cannot do this alone.
