Saher Al Sendawi and his family of nine.
Saher Al Sendawi and his family of nine have been living in a tent for over a year. Four of his siblings are still children.
On October 11, 2023, Saher’s home in Remal was bombed, leaving them with nothing. Since then, they’ve been constantly moving, searching for safety. After days of sleeping outside, Saher built a makeshift tent in Rafah.
Life there was filled with hardship – bombings, disease, and a lack of basic necessities. When Rafah was invaded in May 2024, they fled to Deir Al Balah, only to find overcrowded camps. Now, they live by the sea, struggling daily as conditions worsen.
Despite everything, Saher’s sisters still smile, giving him hope. "As long as we are alive, we will keep hoping for better days," he says.
Your support can help Saher’s family leave Gaza and start anew. Any donation, big or small, can make a difference.
Thank you for your kindness and solidarity.
