Help Amir Support His Family

Amir was only 12 years old when his childhood was cut short.

In 2023, the genocide reached North Gaza and took everything from him. In a matter of moments, Amir lost his home, his safety, and both of his parents. He did not just lose them, he watched his world collapse with his own eyes. While fleeing for their lives, Amir ran through the streets carrying his baby sister, who was just two years old at the time. He held her tightly, trying to protect her from the bombs, the screams, and the chaos around them. During that escape, Amir witnessed the unthinkable: his mother was martyred in front of him by the IDF. A child watched his mother die, and nothing can ever erase that image from his heart.

Today, Amir is only 15 years old, but he lives the life of an adult burdened by grief and responsibility. He is the oldest of four siblings: two brothers aged 12 and 8, and a little sister who is now just 4 years old. With both parents gone, Amir has become their protector, their provider, and their emotional anchor.

They now live with their grandparents, who are elderly, ill, and in constant need of care. Instead of being cared for, Amir is the one caring for everyone else. At an age when he should be playing, dreaming, and going to school without fear, Amir carries the weight of an entire family on his shoulders.

He has escaped death many times. He has seen things no child should ever see. The trauma follows him into the night, he suffers from nightmares and scars that are invisible but deep. Yet during the day, Amir does something remarkable: he smiles. He jokes. He tries to be “normal” for his siblings. He hides his pain so they can feel safe.

When you look at Amir, you see a boy full of energy and kindness, laughing, teasing, and trying to bring joy to those around him. But behind that smile is a child who lost his parents, his home, and his childhood all at once.

Amir has no formal support system. No organization initially stood behind him. No campaign carried his name. He survives through small acts of kindness, TikTok gifts, donations from strangers, and the generosity of people who choose not to look away.

I am Layla, his Project Manager, and I have taken it upon myself to share Amir’s story with the world. Not because he wants pity, but because he deserves support, safety, and a future. Through your help, Amir can receive assistance from people like you and organizations such as Olive Branch Group (OBG).

If you are reading this, please know: your compassion matters. Your donation, no matter how small, can help feed his siblings, support his grandparents’ medical needs, and give Amir a moment to breathe. You can support him by clicking the link in my bio, donating via PayPal, supporting through the Olive Branch Group website, or attending his live streams.

For Amir, your kindness is not just charity , it is hope. It is light in a life that has known too much darkness. And his prayers for you will be your reward.

Thank you for not turning away.
